Happy Monday, Fashionable Friends!

Even though we are still in the midst of hot temperatures and summer fun, I thought I would bring you a preview into the colors you'll be seeing in fashion for Fall 2012, according to the very popular Pantone color report!
(Layout created by Liesl Ehardt using the color choices and images from Pantone.)

Looks as though browns, mustard yellows and tangerine oranges will still be in, which I know my younger sister will love. However, the vibrant pinks, blues and green jewel tones will be carrying through from summer into fall!

With that, I thought I would also pull a few affordable fashions for fall, which incorporate the above colors to help jump start any shopping ahead, as the weather gets a little cooler and we break out the boots, sweaters and warmer scarves, which I personally love!

I hope this helps you plan ahead a little, and gear up for Fall, which will be here before we know it, and also means holiday season will be in full swing soon as well! :)

I know it will most likely be French Roast and Titanium for neutrals with pops of Ultramarine Green and perhaps Tangerine Tango for me! However I'm enjoying the Pink Flambé too, just hadn't thought about it much for fall before!

Check back on Wednesday for more fun pictures from my week, and I hope you have a productive and fun-filled week ahead!

Happy Saturday, Blogland!

I received the nicest e-mail from Monica in Columbus, OH this past week, who wanted me to know how much she enjoyed my blog, and how she always found inspiration to get her through her day, especially with my Saturday Sayings. She encouraged me to keep doing what I am doing, and it meant the world to me!

As I told her in my response, I love quotes, and have always found inspiration in them growing up, especially positive, thought provoking and uplifting ones. So, I started Saturday Sayings for myself, and as a way to share some of my favorites with all of you.

That said, I never knew it would turn into such a success, but an overwhelmingly number of the nice and positive messages and comments I get, tell me how much you all love them too. So, now I do it as much for myself as I do for each of you, and it means a lot knowing the make a difference and are enjoyed!

I hope this week's collection of quotes about life offered a little food for thought and inspiration to your weekend, and possibly week ahead!
Since I used to live in London, and it is where my younger sister was born, it was kind of fun to watch, and the fireworks display was quite something!

Thank you again for all the encouragement that so many of you give to me, and know that you can count on Saturdays being quote filled almost every week! :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and check back on Monday for a fall 2012 fashion color trends post to get you ready for the cooler months ahead!

Happy Friday, Fashionable Friends!

Just a quick post, since I have been in and out of town! The lovely April, over at The Beholder of Beauty, recently awarded me with a Versatile Blogger Award, which was so sweet! Thank you, April! :)

I have been fortunate to get this lovely honor in the past from fellow bloggers, so, I will try to make my facts different from those, which you can see here and here, if interested.

You may have noticed that, I always include one random picture, as seen below, to showcase about me.

Here we go...

• Thank the Blogger who nominated you.

• Include a link to their site.

• Include the award image to your post.

• Include the award image on your blog.

• Give 7 random facts about yourself.

• Nominate other bloggers for the award, including links to their sites

• Let those bloggers know they have been nominated

On the set of "A Good Funeral," a movie set in the 70's, with the genuine, kind and talented Jordan Bridges.

1. I was named after Liesl from The Sound of Music, which is also fitting since I am half German and half Swedish.

2. I eat pretty much the same thing for breakfast every morning, except if I'm not at home or on vacation.

3. Julia Roberts once approached me on set, and complimented me on my bracelet.

4. After being contacted by a police officer, I discovered that someone was impersonating me on Match.com, using all my pictures and information, even talking to guys on the phone she was going to meet, and telling them she was Liesl Ehardt...why me, I'll never understand.

5. I once had dinner with Katie Holmes while on the set of Dawson's Creek.

6. My 4th grade teacher, Mr. Tarantiles, who is one of my favorite teachers to this day, taught me to juggle, using erasers, during recess one day at school.

7. I love evening thunder and lightning storms so much...and we had quite the doozy last night, one of the loudest and closest ever, just wish it had lasted longer!

Sheila from The Failte House

Courtney from From Here to Eternity

Feel free to join in, even if you weren't tagged, and let me know...I love learning more about each of you!

Have a great weekend ahead, I'll be here, there and everywhere, but have a post of quotes set for tomorrow!

(Layout created by Liesl Ehardt using image from the video.)

Wanted to share Rosi Golan's new music video with you, just in time for her show at The City Winery in NYC tomorrow night at 8PM, along with the lovely Mindy Smith!!!

I will be at the show, and would love to meet up with any of you in the area! Just e-mail me or leave a message below to tell me you will be there! Yay! :)

Take a lovely, light-hearted listen below...

Underneath A Beating Heart, a new music video by Rosi Golan.

Underneath A Beating Heart

Artist: Rosi Golan
Album: Lead Balloon

Sheets falling and forming shapes, Drowning to stay awake
Closing my eyes to make sure you’re still here
Holding my every gaze, savor and keep them saved
In just a moment light of day will break

Oh oh oo oh oh so Oh oh oo oh oh so
Lets lay low lets lie right here
Underneath a beating heart everything will disappear
Lets lay low lets lie here tonight
Underneath a beating heart everything will be alright

Lets let all the fading stars remind us of where we are
I know they may seem far away but this seems like the time to say
All that I need to say

Oh oh oo oh oh say Oh oh oo oh oh so
Lets lay low lets lie right here
Underneath a beating heart everything will disappear
Lets lay low lets lie here tonight
Underneath a beating heart everything will be alright

Anywho, I hope you all enjoy this new tune, feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments below, which I will share with Rosi who loves hearing your thoughts!

Have a Wonderful Weekend ahead! I'll be busy working, but also enjoying some rooftop cocktails with friends in midtown Manhattan after the show on Saturday, and a picnic on Sunday afternoon, during a little downtime before that evening, followed by more work.
